Library Director Dicusses Change to 'Endowment Challenge'

At last week's Legislative Forum held at the Sheridan City Hall, Director of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library Cameron Duff addressed state legislators about a proposed change to the “endowment challenge", which involves the division of a $18 million Wyoming Libraries Endowment fund among all the county libraries throughout the state.

Sheridan resident Mary Jane Collins came before a group of legislators at last week's Legislative Forum, held at the Sheridan City Hall, to discuss fatality fines administered through Wyoming 's Occupational Health and Safety Administration or OSHA.

Winds Reached up to 66 mph Overnight, Outages Reported

High winds coming from the Southwest last night reaching up to 66 miles per hour throughout the evening have caused some power outages to be reported in Sheridan County.

Council Eyes Park Boardwalk Bid

Sheridan's city council members will consider awarding the bid for construction of a boardwalk at South Park when they meet on Monday night.

College Plans Move During Break

Sheridan College art and music classes will be moved to new locations during the Christmas break so work can start on the new art center.
