Police Find Two Rifles

Sgt. Tom Ringley of the Sheridan Police Department released an announcement today saying that two rifles had been found on Saturday at separate locations in Sheridan.

Wyoming Winter Classic Hockey New Year's day / UW Hoops open MWC play / Bronc Wrestling home Friday and Saturday

WYOMING WINTER CLASSIC HOCKEY - A big hockey event is coming up on New Year's day, for the second year Sheridan is hosting the Wyoming Winter Classic hockey game between Wyoming junior hockey teams from Cody and Gillette.

Sheridan Hawks coach Zane Garstad says they are just copying the NHL version of the outdoor winter classic.

They will drop the puck at 4:00 Thursday and he says they will have plenty of room for all fans.
