Legislation would boost Wyo. minimum wage to $9

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Two Democratic lawmakers from Cheyenne are sponsoring legislation that would raise Wyoming's minimum wage from $5.15 to $9 per hour.

Dwaine Bobbitt, 73, of Sheridan passed away at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. .

Dwaine was born on September 17, 1940 to Clarence William and Frances Fae (Anderson) Bobbitt in Sheridan where he was raised. He married the love of his life, Judith Ann Kiester on February 3, 1963 at the Assembly of God Church in Sheridan.

Sheridan College women’s soccer signs Montana standout

Montana High School star soccer player Alexis Lewis signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Sheridan College women’s soccer team this fall.

Lewis, a senior forward, had a stellar prep career for the Class A Locomotives, including a five-goal performance against Missoula Loyola in August 2013. She was a Montana All-Conference and All-State winner.

“Alexis Lewis has a lot of experience playing up top,” Sheridan College head coach Stefan Skillman said. “She will bring a quick pace and a great change of direction to the team.
