Senator Reacts to Firing Squad Bill Being Shot Down

Earlier this week the Wyoming Senate voted not to consider legislation intended to change the death penalty in Wyoming to firing squad for inmates on death row. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

The Sheridan City Council, at their regular meeting February 3rd, elected to table an ordinance that would have eliminated the three wards in the City, changing the six council seats to at-large positions. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more on this ongoing story.

Senator Enzi Votes Against Debt Increase

The United States Senate Wednesday agreed with the House and voted to increase the nation's debt limit, no strings attached. U.S. Senator for Wyoming Mike Enzi voted against the debt limit increase.

Richie “ Allen” Dent, Jr., 51, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his home.

A Celebration of Life for Allen will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Elks Lodge.

Memorials to honor Allen may be made to Joey's Fly Fishing Foundation, 109 S. Main St., Suite B, Sheridan, WY 82801.
