The Sheridan Community Land Trust held their annual open house Thursday night at the Sheridan Inn. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

For the sixth consecutive year, the state of Wyoming is experiencing the largest kindergarten class in its history.

Winter Sports Winding Down For Jo Co Athletes 02 28 14

Winter sports are beginning to wind down with most teams this weekend at regional tournaments with a few at state and fewer still preparing for their regional tournaments next weekend.

Athletes from both Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools are all in action this weekend.

City Passes Resolution For WYDOT Funding

Buffalo will get funding from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) after accepting a Resolution stating they will comply with certain statutes in order to get the financial assistance.

Big Horn Seniors Recognized at Senior Night

On the evening before their trip south for the Regional Basketball Tournament Big Horn recognized their Seniors at a potluck buffet on "Senior Night." Weather conditions scrapped the originally planned event when Rocky Mountain cancelled their trip to Big Horn and thus the last home games of the season.

Edgar R. “Ross” Sadler, Jr., 84, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1929 in Casper, WY to parents Edgar R. and Bertha (Cook) Sadler, Sr.

Hospital Implements New Coding System

The chief information officer for the local hospital said his staff is busy updating the coding system to comply with new Medicare regulations. He gave details during a recent board meeting and News Director Leslie Stratmoen was there to bring us this report.
