In 2011, the Sheridan Senior Center conducted a needs and assessment plan to help determine what areas need to be expanded on in the future. That assessment showed the need to increase the capacity of the day care and services offered to accommodate the growth in clients that use the facility.

To commemorate February as National Children's Dental Health Month, the students and faculty of the Dental Hygiene department at Sheridan College will host approximately 400 local kindergarteners Thursday at the college.

Johnson County's Commissioners have voted to draft a letter of support for the project proposed by the Rare Earth Elements company in Weston and Crook Counties.

The City of Sheridan has announced that a snow route alert has been called and will go into effect this evening at 8 o'clock. Officials with the city are asking that all vehicles along designated snow routes be removed from the street starting at that time.

Signage at Buffalo's Crazy Woman Square is closer to a reality now that the city council has approved the design concepts presented to them by the Vision Buffalo Commission (VBC).

Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical, “Oklahoma!,” will be performed by the Buffalo High School Drama Department this Friday and Saturday at the schools' auditorium.
