The annual Sheridan Jaycees “Run 'Til You're Green” fun run will take place this Saturday at Kendrick Park in Sheridan. Registration will begin at 9 in the morning, with the run slated to start at 11.

During a subcommittee hearing Tuesday on single-payer health care systems, U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, stated that the Affordable Care Act was designed to fail and push America towards a government-run plan.

As part of the Alternative Break program, students with the University of Wyoming will spend their spring break working on projects ranging from assisting homeless youth in San Francisco to conservation efforts in Trinidad.

Johnson County's Commissioners, at Tuesday's meeting, discussed the possibility of changing the tentative lease agreement between themselves and the Wyoming Game and Fish over water rights in Lake DeSmet.

The Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees, at their Monday night meeting, were given an update on the district's pursuit of a new Superintendent to replace the retiring Dr. Rod Kessler.

The newly re-formed Johnson County Historical Society will offer this month's presentation this Wednesday, March 12th at 6:30 pm at the Johnson County Library.

Geologist/paleontologist Dr. Randolph Moses will be the speaker and will present the geological history of the Trailside area of the Big Horn Mountains.
