Celtic at the Market

Shoppers at Warehouse Market in Sheridan were treated to a special performance by Celtic Sage Friday, as the group set up shop in front of Killy's Smokehouse Deli for about an hour to play some traditional Irish music.

6th Grade Boys Basketball Team

They played in the Power to Play Sports-Wyoming Winter Championship in Cheyenne on Sunday, March 9th. They won the Championship for the 6th grade boys division.

Lula Lee Wilson

Lula Lee Wilson, 87, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Westview Health Care Center.

Lula was born on August 23, 1926 in Franklin, TX to parents Oscar Carroll and Lula (Griffin) Carroll. She married William “Pete” Benjamin Wilson on December 17, 1956 in New Waverly, TX. Together they raised three children; Patricia, David and Nettie.

Dayton Not Yet Spending New Captax Funds

The town of Dayton will use the last of its current capital facilities tax funds this spring, and may begin planning projects for the new capital facilities tax around June.

Fourteen students from Sheridan Junior High School qualified to attend the Wyoming State Science Fair held earlier this month on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie.

Health Dept Pays for Ad Campaign to Promote STD Testing

The Wyoming Department of Health continues to promote free and confidential testing for HIV and sexually transmitted diseases or STDs through its recently updated “KnoWyo” campaign.

Democrats Hold County Convention

The Sheridan County Democratic Party will hold their annual County Convention on Saturday, March 29, starting at 10 in the morning, at the Big Horn Mountain Eagles building on Commercial Avenue in Sheridan.
