This year's Jackalope Jump at Lake DeSmet was postponed earlier in the year due to dangerous weather conditions and was re-scheduled for this past Saturday, March 15th. With low temperatures and high winds on the lake making for extremely uncomfortable conditions, the argument could have been made to postpone the jump again.
