Gillette Meeting to Focus on Orphan Wells Problem

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - An upcoming public meeting in Gillette will address the state's plans for plugging abandoned coal-bed methane wells. The meeting is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. April 2 at Gillette College.

Forestry Office Entrance Moves, Temporarily

Visitor services will continue during renovations at the Bighorn National Forest’s Tongue Ranger District office in Sheridan, but the public entrance will be temporarily relocated.

Officials at Sheridan County School District 1 have announced they'll be offering classic kindergarten at both Big Horn and Tongue River elementary schools in the 2014-15 school year.

R.E. Keenan of the Sheridan Brewing company has returned home from a two-months visit to California. He is in good health except for a slight cold. He spent most of his time in Los Angeles.
