CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Gov. Matt Mead called up the Wyoming National Guard on Friday to help combat flooding that forced scores of people to evacuate their homes along the Big Horn River in Washakie County.

Warmer temperatures this weekend may cause flooding along low lying areas near creeks and streams. Officials with Sheridan County have begun to prepare for localized flooding by filling sandbags at the Road and Bridge shop.
