Classical Music Concert Offered Wednesday In Buffalo

An evening of classical music featuring mezzo-soprano Katie Calcamuggio and John Elam on piano will be presented Wednesday, May 7 at 7pm at the Buffalo High School Auditorium.

Johnson County, like a number of other counties in the state, takes part in the CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality) Dust Abatement Program for those affected by energy development.

County Commissioners To Discuss Zoning For Gravel Pit

Johnson County's Commissioners.

Johnson County's Commissioners are scheduled to discuss a request for a letter from the county to Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on zoning for a gravel pit for Roduner Rock, LLC.
That discussion is set for 9:05 am during their regular meeting Tuesday.

Judith F. Hutchins Blakeman, 74, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Westview Health Care Center.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mount Moriah Cemetery in Sundance, WY with Pastor Ken Ballard officiating. A reception will follow at the Methodist Church.
