Jaycees Halloween Parade Another Success

Upwards of 200 costume clad Halloween little people participated in the Sheridan Jaycees annual Halloween Parade in downtown Sheridan Saturday afternoon and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott was there.

High School football playoffs:Sheridan and Tongue River advance Big Horn and NSI eliminated

The Sheridan Broncs beat Evanston 48-0 and Tongue River upset Cokeville 28-21 to advance to next week's semi final round.

Big Horn lost at Greybull 27-25 and NSI lost at LSR.

Regional volleyball continues today in Big Horn and Cheyenne.

POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - A geologist says a slow-moving landslide is likely to blame for a new crevasse that has swallowed up a chunk of Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains, opening up a mini canyon-land in the range's grass-covered slopes.

Powder River Resource Council Meets Today in Sheridan

A group of people who are working to preserve the Powder River Basin while minerals and oil are being developed are meeting today in Sheridan. The public portion of the Powder River Basin Resource Council’s annual meeting includes presentations by speakers this afternoon and tonight.
