Second Man Sentenced in Aggravated Robbery Incident

A second man involved in the gunpoint robbery of a Sheridan woman last May, and who testified against the defendant in last week's jury trial, was sentenced to probation in district court in Sheridan Monday morning.

Funeral services for Evelyn Hakert, 96 year old long time Buffalo resident and Wyoming Pioneer woman who passed away quietly Thursday evening at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Wednesday, December 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo, with Father Doug Wasinger officiating.

Out-of-State Trucker Dies in Mountainside Crash

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released the name of the trucker who was killed in Friday night's crash on Highway 14. He's been identified as 28-year-old Sana Altaye of Detroit, Michigan.

Weekend local sports wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams dropped games to Billings West Friday night the Broncs lost on the road 82-67 while the Lady Broncs fell 63-58 at home, Robbi Ryan had 31 points to lead the Lady Broncs.

Head coach Jessica Pickett says the team will rely a lot on the play of their three seniors, Ryan, along with Jamie Shassetz and Kaycen Townsend.

Both teams will play next week in the Energy classic tournament in Gillette.
