UPDATE: Liquor Licenses for Bear Lodge, Elk View Inn, Both in Compliance

The Chief of Enforcement for the Wyoming Department of Revenue Liquor Division has clarified to Sheridan Media that the liquor licenses for the Elk View Inn and Bear Lodge, owned by the same company, are in compliance.

Enid L. Krezelok, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Enid was born on September 24, 1921, in Sheridan, WY, to parents George and Edith (Hosburg) Brundage. She married Frank Krezelok in Sheridan on February 14, 1942.

Longtime resident, Dr. Oscar Jimenez-Rojo died on July 28, 2015 at the age of 94. He was born to Ceferino and Alicia Jimenez-Rojo on November 19, 1921 in Havana, Cuba. After graduating with his MD from the University of Havana, he came to the United States in 1944 to complete his medical training at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

FEMA Announces Buffalo DRC To Close Saturday

The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Wyoming Office Of Homeland Security announced Tuesday that the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Buffalo located at 325 Butte Street will close this Saturday, August 1st at 1pm.

Johnson County Announces Wagon Box Road Closure

Wagon Box Road will close beginning Next week to allow for repairs, according to the Johnson County Road and Bridge department.

Blood Still Needed, Drive Continues

A blood drive continues today in Sheridan. Sydney Galletti, with United Blood Services, says blood is needed because there has been a significant increase in the area in the number of trauma patients requiring massive transfusions.

County Fire Warden Says No Fire Restrictions, Just Yet

Currently there are no fire restrictions in place for Sheridan County. That could change soon however with the recent hot temperatures we’ve been experiencing in Sheridan County. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the story.

State "AA" baseball starts today / Troopers face Casper at 7:00 pm

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers host the American Legion Double "AA" state tournament play begins today at Thorne-Rider stadium with four games Jackson plays Laramie at 10 o'clock, Cheyenne plays Rock Springs at 1:00, Gillette plays Cody at 4:00 and the Troopers play Casper at 7:00. We will have the Trooper game live for you on 14-10 KWYO.

Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says first it is great for the team to get to host the tournament.
