Preparing for the Show

The cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee were busy preparing for the musical Wednesday, before joining The New Vaudevillians on stage for a scene from the show. The musical, directed by Emma Hall,opens tonight at 7 in the Mars Black Box Theater on Main Street in Sheridan.

A recent fundraiser brought in $15,000 to be used for Sheridan’s Goose Creek Restoration project. Organizers of the Goose Creek Cup polo games held over the weekend have deemed the event a huge success.

Lovell Woman Dies from Crash Injuries

A 78-year-old woman from Lovell who was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday, has died from her injuries. Dorothy Winterholler died at the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell.

Partial Fire Restrictions Go Into Effect Friday

Partial fire restrictions for Sheridan County will go into effect Friday at 12:01 am. The decision was made Wednesday afternoon during a special meeting of the Sheridan County Commissioners.

Reports of a tornado in the Bighorn Mountains Monday night turned out to be false. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the story.

Troopers beat Rock Springs face Laramie at 10:00 in state tournament / Post 6 and Gillette to play in the winners semi final tonight at 7:00

STATE "AA" AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers beat Rock Springs 6-2 to advance into today's action at the state double "AA" American Legion tournament and will play at 10:00 against Laramie we will have the game live on 14-10 KWYO.

The Troops built a 6-0 lead behind the pitching of Quinton Brooks, the lefty kept the Rock Springs batters off balance and got some very good defensive plays behind him, Head coach Ben Phillips.
