Whitney Benefits has announced the sale of the Whitney soccer fields located adjacent to Whitney Commons in Sheridan, as well as the west portion of the existing parking lot for $1.71 million.

Barrasso Introduces Bill to Expedite Benefits for the Terminally Ill

Wyoming’s U.S. Senator John Barrasso, a Republican, and Sherrod Brown, a Democrat from Ohio, introduced bipartisan legislation this week to expedite the payment of Social Security Disability Insurance known as SSDI benefits to people with terminal illnesses by eliminating the five-month waiting period.

Authorities Still Haven’t Identified Body

UPDATE: Authorities have still not identified the body of a man found Sunday at Healy Reservoir east of Buffalo, in Johnson County.

City Waits for Century Link’s Response

After several months of negotiations between the City of Sheridan and Century Link, third reading of an ordinance establishing a franchise agreement between the two was approved Tuesday night by the city council. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has more on the story.
