Funeral services for Mary Trembly, 78 year old Buffalo woman who passed away Friday in Seattle, Washington, will be held Saturday, September 26th at 10:00 a.m. from the United Methodist Church in Buffalo with Reverend KyeongSu Jung officiating. Interment will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Larry G. Routh

Larry G. Routh, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Saddle Ridge Rehabilitation Center.

Larry was born on March 28, 1946, in Daytona Beach, FL, to parents Charles Gene and Donna Lee (Campbell) Routh. Larry attended school in Sheridan prior to enlisting in the Navy, where he served from 1963 to 1967, including two tours in Vietnam.

John Ellis Nield

John Ellis Nield, 92, of Dayton, WY died September 22, 2015. “Jack” as he was known by in his home town of Afton, WY, was the son of Ellis and Ouida Linford Nield, loving husband, of Ilona Budnick Nield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. John is survived by his wife, and three children, Angela Nield Peppard, (Denny), Johann Nield, (Susan), and Christa Nield Spillane (John).

Local Police Participate in National Drug Take Back Day

The local police department will be taking part in the national Drug Take Back Day program by offering a collection point on Saturday for outdated, unneeded or unused prescription drugs.

Aquatic Center Campaign Receives $2 Million Pledge

The vision of an indoor aquatic center in Sheridan received a boost Monday as the Chandler H. and Mercedes K. Kibbee Foundation for Children pledged $2 million over the next five years for the aquatic center.
