Child Abuse Trial Continues in District Court

The child abuse trial for Sheridan County residents Donna Gifford and Michael Tibbets continued Wednesday in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. Six teachers that taught one of the three children at one time or another offered testimony during the morning portion of the trial.

County To Receive FEMA Funds For Flood Damages

Johnson County has received notice that they were awarded FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) funding through the “Reimbursement Assistance for Costs” program stemming from the flooding event in the county that happened in June of 2015.
