Council Awards Contract for Emergency Repair of Landfill Shop Building

The Sheridan City Council Monday night awarded a contract in the amount of $55,000 to MC2 Engineering and Construction for the emergency repair of the shop building at the City Landfill.

Sheridan College volleyball is hosting their annual Elite Prospect Camp January 24th, 2016.

The Elite Prospect Camp is a chance for your players to be seen by our coaching staff and make their way onto the top of our recruiting list.

This camp was created to showcase the Top Recruits from the Class of 2016, 2017 and 2018 from across the Midwest.

The list of recruiting prospects includes players from Colorado, Iowa, Utah, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota, Hawaii and Canada.

Buffalo Council Approves Grant Application For Matching Funds

The Buffalo City Council has approved a Resolution authorizing the city to apply for a grant to cover the matching funds needed for an application for a hazard mitigation grant through the Federal government.

In addition to appointing Commissioner Bill Novotny as the new chairman for the commission, and designating Commissioner Jim Hicks as the vice-chairman, and designating who will serve on the various boards and committees, the Johnson County Commissioners also approved a number of “housekeeping” motions necessary during the first meeting of each new year.
