GENERALS / LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball teams dropped games with Gillette at the Hoffman dome last night, both Gillette teams got out of the gate quickly and the Lady Generals and Generals had to play catch up all night.

The Lady Generals fell behind by 20 in the second half but did make a late run but Gillette finished strong and took the game 85-71. Zuzana Talackova led the Lady Generals with a game high 32 points, after the loss Head coach Frank McCarthy.

Plans Move Forward for Hospice

Sheridan Media reported that late last year, employees at Sheridan Memorial Hospital voted to donate funds to the hospital's project to build a new hospice house in the community. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair recently spoke with the hospital's CEO about the status of that project.
