A circuit court case and two from district court were the focus of the first night of “You Be the Judge” Tuesday as members of the audience became judges for a night at the Sheridan County Courthouse.
The first-ever Halloween Boo Bash will be held this Saturday, October 29th, for high school students, grades 9-12. The Boo Bash will be held at the fairgrounds and Sheridan Media’s Judy Hagerott brings us the story.
The Sheridan City Council Tuesday held a special meeting to approve the guaranteed maximum price of $4.25 million to Dick Anderson Construction for the Sheridan Senior Center Food Service and Remodel project.
The Downtown Sheridan Association has awarded their week 3 winners of the Hunting for Bucks campaign with their chamber bucks. Winners Heather Hampton and Jenn Martinez signed up at the Cottonwood Shop, Cindy Ketron signed up at The Sport Shop and Justin Hulford signed at Sheridan Commercial.
The Sheridan Senior Center has already hosted two Candidate Forums for this year’s election and they will again have the candidates for State Positions on hand Thursday night at 5:30.
The 16th annual Pet-O-Ween pet costume contest to benefit the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter will take place Saturday morning at the Kendrick Park band shell. Registration for the costume contest begins at 10 am, with the contest itself beginning at 11.
As part of National Pro Bono Week, the Sheridan County Bar Association and the Sheridan Senior Center are offering a free legal advice clinic Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 pm at the Senior Center.
