Sheridan College Hosts 'Haunted House of Hoops'

Sheridan College hosted a second annual Haunted House of Hoops Saturday night with a chance to meet the Sheridan College Generals basketball team, games, a costume contest and, of course, lots of candy for the children in attendance.

Costumes were judged, prizes awarded, then children accompanied by their parents went trick-or-treating to businesses downtown Saturday morning during the Sheridan Jaycees' annual Halloween parade.

More than 40 people braved chilly temperatures and rain Saturday morning to participate in the second annual Morning Mayhem 6K Halloween Race at the Sheridan Recreation District offices in Thorne-Rider Park.
