Broncs Bounce Back Against Central 45-10/ Rams Blowout Bobcats 53-8

After a tough loss to Gillette last week, the #2 ranked 4A Sheridan Bronc Football team took care of Cheyenne Central 45-10. Trevor Jackson gives us the call from one of their touchdowns.

They move to 7-1 on the season heading into next weeks game at Natrona.

Big Horn Ram Football
The #3 Ranked 2A Big Horn Rams Football team had a strong showing beating Thermopolis 53-8. Moving to 5-1 on the season, the Rams will face Moorcroft on the road next week.

Sheridan County School District #2 will be having a teacher in service training day on Monday and there will be no school. Classes will resume on Tuesday.

Chamber, Senior Center to Host Candidate Forums

The Government Affairs Committee of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce will host two candidate forums next week. On Tuesday, the forum will include candidates for state representatives, U.S. Representatives, county commissioners, Sheridan City Council and Sheridan Mayor.

SLIB Board Approves Funding for WYO Performing Arts and Education Center in Sheridan

In April, the State Loan and Investment Board approved $500,000 for preliminary work on the Hallmark Building at the corner of Main and Brundage Streets in Sheridan. At that time, the City of Sheridan had requested $2 million to renovate the Hallmark building and integrate it into the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center.
