Local School District Leaders Urge Against Proposed Funding Cuts

Nine school district leaders, including Sheridan County School District 1 Superintendent Marty Kobza met with Gov. Matt Mead this week to protest additional funding cuts to Wyoming schools.

Air and rail are important to Sheridan's economic growth, according to the site selectors who've been visiting the community this week.

Two site selectors from a company based in Arizona visited Sheridan College late Wednesday morning as part of a two-day visit to Sheridan hosted by Forward Sheridan.

Get your pets groomed and ready because on Saturday they will have the chance to take a picture with the christmas big guy himself. From 11am-4pm Santa Claus will be on hand at Muddy Paw Prints, behind Sheridan’s Starbucks, to take pictures with your pets.

According to the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Department, a deceased male was found in the Bighorn Mountains on Saturday evening.
