There have been several construction projects in Sheridan this fall. Two of those projects were on heavily traveled routes that led to the same area. Many residents have wondered why the projects on Loucks/Highland and the 5th Street bridge would be done at the same time.

Virginia “Ginger” L. Nelson

Virginia “Ginger” L. Nelson, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 66 years, 20 days old. She was born to parents Leon and Reva (Kraus) Nichols on October 21, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, NE. They moved to Cozad where Ginger later graduated from High School in 1968.
