Final Council Meeting of November Set for Monday

On Monday, the Sheridan City Council will meet for their final regularly scheduled meeting of November. Mayor John Heath explains that there will be two community updates and two staff updates.

On Friday morning, the City of Sheridan was alerted to a water main break on East Heald and Coffeen Ave. According to Ken Hirschman, Sheridan’s Utility Maintenance Superintendent, crews responded quickly.

Wilbur Cecil Ransbottom, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17th, 2016. Wilbur, age 88, had been a long time resident of Three Rivers, Michigan before becoming a resident of Sheridan, Wyoming in 2009. Born February 26, 1928, Wilbur was the only child of Ethel Mary (Nichols) and Cecil Sherman Ransbottom.

Model Railroad on Display

The Sheridan Model Railroad Association is planning their annual open house this Saturday from 10am to 3pm in the basement of the old Taylor School. The public is invited to stop in and see the small trains running through scenes modeled on the local area and ask questions if you like.

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college Generals basketball team play on the road this weekend at a tournament in Casper they will play Colorado Northwestern today and Eastern Wyoming tomorrow then down to Sterling, Colorado Monday for a game at Northeastern Junior College.

The Lady Generals are 6-1 after posting a 76-72 road win at Eastern Wyoming Wednesday they host their own tournament with a game tonight and tomorrow they will play tonight at 7:00 and tomorrow afternoon at 3:00.

Chamber's 'Button Strut' Saturday In Buffalo
