Christmas Stroll Attracts Another Big Crowd

Hundreds of people flocked to downtown Sheridan Friday night to shop, ride hay wagons and other vehicles and, of course, check the numbers on their Stroll buttons during this year's Christmas Stroll.

“A Bright New Boise” Premieres at the Carriage House Theater on Thursday

The Sheridan Civic Theater Guild will premier their second play of the season, A Bright New Boise by Samuel D. Hunter, on Thursday at Sheridan’s Carriage House Theater. The play will be performed again on the 2-4 and the 8-11.

Lloyd Dean Harrington, 83, was called home by the Lord on November 24, 2016 to join his beloved wife of 53 years, Monica. Lloyd was born on July 30, 1933 to Leo and Mabel (Walker) Harrington, the third of 4 sons. He grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1952. That same year, he joined the Air Force and was stationed several places during his career.

Funeral services for Deanie Witty, 77 year old Buffalo resident, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Saturday November 26th at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Building at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. A private family interment will be held later.
