The #2 Ranked 4A Sheridan Bronc Football team is heading to the championship after beating Rock Springs 35-6. They will play the winner of the Gillette/Natrona game next Saturday at UW's War Memorial Stadium for the state title.

Tongue River Eagles Football
Tongue River's #2 1A Eagles football team beat Shoshoni 37-6 to punch their ticket to Championship Saturday. They will play Pine Bluffs in Laramie next Saturday for the title.

SCSD2 May Have Received Hepatitis A Affected Frozen Strawberries

The State Epidemiologist informed Sheridan County School District #2 yesterday that it may have received a shipment of frozen strawberries from Sysco Foods that were possibly affected by Hepatitis A.

Marion McNickle Newton, 99, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 9, 1917, to Emery and Alice Golay in Farnam, NE.

Marion married Francis McNickle in 1937, they had two children, Penelope and Michael. Francis passed away in 1954.
