GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals host the annual Sheridan Lions club Thanksgiving tournament games are all day today and tomorrow early session games will be at noon and 2:00 the Lady Generals play at 4:00 and the Generals go at 6:00.

The Generals are 6-2 overall and are coming off a great road win at Northeastern Colorado Monday night, here's Head coach Matt Hammer.

Buffalo Turkey Trot Raises Awareness For Hospice Program

The Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice at the Johnson County Healthcare Center in Buffalo had their annual Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning, with upwards of 100 people braving the cold temperatures to participate in the 5K fun run and walk.

School Board Approves Staff Holiday Gifts

Employees of the Johnson County School District will be getting Holiday gift cards and gift baskets from the school board to show their appreciation for their hard work after the board approved the purchase of the items at their November meeting.

The Christmas shopping season traditionally begins today, Black Friday, but in Buffalo, it will kick off with a fireworks display Saturday evening.
