Wednesday, the Bloedorn Lumber Me and My Grill-Friend Contest winner was awarded the package that is valued at over $800. Of the 97 entries, Jeremiah Carmona was the winner of the random draw.

Christmas Stroll Buttons Still Available

On Friday, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Christmas Stroll will take place from 4-8pm on Sheridan’s Main Street. According to Dixie Johnson, CEO of the Chamber, they still have buttons available for $5 at the chamber office.

Paul J. Kawulok, 86, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016, at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1929, in Kleenburn, WY, to parents Paul and Mary (Tkach) Kawulok. He married Barbara Kriz in Sheridan, WY.

Hot Tamale Louie Was Local Legend

Sheridan's Public Arts Committee is planning to buy a statue that will be placed in downtown Sheridan to honor one of the city's early day residents who became a legend. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair has the story.

SRD - The Sheridan Recreation District board held their November meeting Tuesday Rec district Director Richard Wright says they have a new Christmas break activity for kids this year.
