The congregation at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan have done it again, with their annual Cookie and Candy Sale. The members baked thousands of goodies, giving Christmas shoppers a break from baking and more time for shopping.

This week’s poll question referred to Forward Sheridan and its effect on Sheridan’s economy. Funny thing, most people had no clue of what Forward Sheridan is, but they thought the City of Sheridan was doing pretty good.

Buffalo Attorney Pleads Guilty To Contempt Of Court Charges

Buffalo Attorney Greg Goddard has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor federal contempt of court charge and will serve jail time and pay a fine stemming from the plea agreement made in federal court in Cheyenne last week.

Local Youth Runner Places in Top 10 at the National Junior Olympic Championships

Gavin Sweeney

12 year old Gavin Sweeney son of Mike and Stacy Sweeney, ran in the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships in Cross Country.

The race was held in Hoover, AL. Gavin placed 8th out of 418 runners in his race. The race is 1.86 miles. First place time was 10:36. Gavin's time was 11:01.
