Sheridan County commissioners Monday voted to approve hiring a temporary full-time person in the county clerk's office.

It has been almost a year since Sheridan County School District #3 lost their busses and bus barn in an early morning electrical fire. According to SCSD3 Superintendent Charles Auzqui, the new barn should be completed soon.

My new favorite baseball cap says “Wyoming versus BYU,” except that this cap is 20 years old from the 1996 WAC football championship held in Las Vegas. We were at that game and now it is Déjà Vu all over again.

Sheridan High School Senior Coy Steel Named 2016 Wyoming "Gatorade Player of the Year"

Gatorade announced today that Senior Coy Steel was named Wyoming's Football player of the year today.

Steel was a member of this year's Bronc state championship team among his post season honors all-conference and all-state at multiple postions and voted the 4-A Defensive player of the year and Casper Star Tribune Super 25 selection.

Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC HOOPS - The Bronc and Lady bronc basketball teams both went 2-1 in Riverton on the weekend they picked up wins over Evanston and Jackson while losing to Rock Springs, Lady Broncs Head coach Jessica Pickett.

This is the first season the team will play without two time Gatorade player of the year Robbi Ryan and Pickett says it a transition for all of them as they look to move forward.
