SJHS Students Pledge 'Hands Off Drugs'

More than 260 Sheridan Junior High School students left their handprints on a wall at the school Tuesday afternoon as part of a pledge they've made to remain drug-free.

Funeral services for Russ Humphrey, 75 year old Buffalo man who passed away quietly Tuesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Friday, December 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m.

Airport Manager Looking at Around 9,000 Enplanements

Sheridan County Airport Manager John Stopka said he's expecting the final tally of commercial enplanements for this year to be around 9,000.

Caroline Riggs, 74, of Parkman, WY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Our family suffered a tremendous loss. Caroline was born on September 8, 1942 in Harrison, Nebraska to Alfred and Wilhamina (Thayer) Pullen. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother.
