New Trustees Take Seats on College Board

New trustees took office, officers were elected for the coming year, and College Trustee Walt Wragge presented plans for the new tech center at Sheridan College in a busy meeting of the Northern Wyoming Community College District Thursday night.

College District Wins Marketing, PR Awards

The Northern Wyoming Community College District, which is Sheridan and Gillette colleges and the Johnson County campus, has received three awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District Four.

According to a report released by a coalition of public health organizations, Wyoming ranks fourth nationwide in funding programs to prevent kids from smoking and to help smokers quit.

2016 is the 18th consecutive year that students from Holy Name Catholic School have participated in a Sheridan Fulmer Public Library art show. The students tackled a number of challenging works this year with each displaying up to three pieces.

SHS We the People Team Qualifies For State Championship

Following the district competition held in Casper on Monday, December 12, the Sheridan High School We the People team qualified for the We the People State championship on Monday, February 6 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Laramie.

Hospital Board Authorizes Negotiations for Property
