Last Sheridan City Council Meeting for Mayor John Heath

Monday’s Sheridan City Council meeting will be the last for Sheridan Mayor John Heath. After serving the city of Sheridan for the better part of the last decade, Mayor Heath will be handing the reigns over to Mayor-Elect Roger Miller at the regularly scheduled meeting on January 2nd.

Snow Alert Declared for Sheridan

The city of Sheridan has declared a snow alert and will commence curb to curb pickup on the Priority 1 pickup routes along with a few additional roads tonight.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held in the Sheridan Masonic Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Ice Fishing Season is Upon Us

Anglers in northeast Wyoming began ice fishing recently at Healy Reservoir near Buffalo according to officials with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

Keeping Pets Safe During the Storm

Temperatures are expected to drop well below zero both tonight and tomorrow night for much of northeast Wyoming, which means being outside for prolonged periods of time can be dangerous, even life threatening for humans and animals.

The Sheridan high school games with Billings Skyview have been canceled they expect to play them sometime next week.

The Tongue River and Big Horn high schools have canceled the East / West Challenge tournament.

The Arvada/Clearmont Basketball teams have canceled all weekend games.

The Sheridan Bronc Wrestlers will not travel to compete in the Worland Dual Tournament.

The Bronc Swimmers and Divers will not be traveling to Cody and Riverton
