‘Tween Club’ Offers Something Different Every Week at Fulmer Library

The Sheridan County Fulmer Library hosts the “Tween Club” every Tuesday afternoon at 3:45 in the Children’s Library. Children’s Librarian Michelle Havenga says they offer a new program every week.

History Program to Feature Edward Gillette

The next Conversations in History is slated for Wednesday, April 13 from 10:30 to 11:30 at the Sheridan Senior Center. The program will feature Helen Laumann discussing Edward Gillette. Sheridan County Museum Director John Woodward tells us a little bit about Mr. Gillette.

The program is open to the public, free of charge.

Bronc / Lady Bronc Soccer head to Casper Friday / Buffalo hosts the Jerry Campbell track invitiational / MLB season opens Sunday

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams resume their schedule at a two day jamboree in Casper tomorrow and Saturday with games against Casper Kelly Walsh, Evanston and Natrona county.

Next week conference play begins with matches against Cheyenne South and Laramie the Broncs will open at home with the Lady Broncs will on the road.

The Broncs are 1-0-0 after a season opening 3-0 shutout win at Riverton Head coach Matt Johnson says the first game out was a good opener for the Broncs.

Hospital Updates County on Projects

Sheridan Memorial Hospital administration didn't ask for funds from Sheridan County during Wednesday's budget meeting, but CEO Mike McCafferty updated county commissioners on projects, including plans for a new medical office building.

Cowboy's Adams Tabbed All-American by Associated Press

LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 30, 2016) – Wyoming’s Josh Adams has earned Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention, the organization announced Tuesday.

The senior guard is the 17th Cowboy to be named an All-American and first since Josh Davis in 2002. He was also one of just two players from the Mountain West on this year’s list, as Fresno State’s Marvelle Harris was also an Honorable Mention.
