Child Abusers Receive Split Sentence, Probation

A sentencing hearing was held Thursday in District Court in Sheridan for 51-year-old Michael Tibbets and 50-year-old Donna Gifford. The couple were found guilty of three counts of Felony Child Abuse in January following a five day jury trial.

Speed Limit for Highway 14-16 Going up to 70mph

Speed limits on some state roads are going up to 70 miles per hour, from 65, as a result of recent legislation, including Highway 14-16 that runs through Sheridan and Johnson counties.
