County Approves Contract For Emergency Generator

Johnson County's Commissioners reviewed, discussed and approved a contract for the purchase and installation of an emergency generator at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

City OK's Engineering Services Contracts On Lobban Project

Johnson County Road and Bridge Administrative Assistant Cheryl Benner was recently appointed as the new Operating Manager of Lake DeSmet by the Johnson County Commissioners.

Two Injured in Traffic Mishaps

During the most recent session of the Wyoming Legislature, a number of cuts were made to come up with a balanced budget for the biennium to make up for declining revenues from the mineral industry.

Story Community Fund Awards Grant to Story Centennial Park Board

The Story Community Fund is an affiliate of the Wyoming Community Foundation and was founded November 2011 to be a charitable fund for local 501-c-3 organizations. Last fall the Story Centennial Park Board applied for a $2,000 Grant to help with expenses at the Story Park. The Park has seen increased usage over the years.
