Pinwheels for Prevention

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and to help bring awareness to child abuse and child neglect, Sheridan County Public Health and community partners planted thousands of pinwheels on the lawn of the Sheridan County Courthouse Friday. Communities throughout Wyoming and nationwide are taking part in the The Pinwheel Garden Project as a means to help support child abuse prevention efforts.

Democrat Delegates Split Between Clinton, Sanders

Half of the 14 Sheridan County delegates to the state Democratic convention in May will be supporters of Secretary of State Hilliary Clinton for president, and the other half support Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Bronc / Lady Bronc soccer sweep Cheyenne South / Rockies fall in home opener

BRONC/LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams posted conference victories Friday over Cheyenne South. The Lady Broncs took their match 3-1 while the Broncs shut the Bison out 7-0.

Today they play Laramie the Lady Broncs play on the road the Broncs host the Plainsmen varsity match time is at noon at Homer Scott stadium.

ROCKIES BASEBALL - The Colorado Rockies lost 13-6 to San Diego Friday they play again tonight you can hear the game live on 87.7 FM ESPN radio broadcast time is set for 5:30.

County Passes Resolution For Budget Amendment

Johnson County's Commissioners approved and passed Resolution No. 534, which will adjust the county budget to show acceptance of a grant from the state to cover a purchase to be made by one county department.
