Wyoming Theater Festival Housing

This July, the Wyoming Theater Festival will be in town to give Sheridan two weeks worth of productions. These productions will take place in Sheridan’s Mars Theater and WYO Theater.

Buffalo's City Council voted against forming a joint recreation district at their regular Tuesday meeting.

Johnson County Also Defeats Joint Powers Rec District Board

Johnson County's Commissioners also voted on the issue of whether or not to form a Joint Powers Recreation District, as proposed by the Johnson County School Board, to replace the existing rec board.

County Approves Various Requests Before Them

Johnson County's Commissioners approved a number of requests before the at their meeting earlier this week.

The commissioners approved a request from Vicky Gearhart to become a member of the Mountain Plains Heritage Park Board.

Past and present members of Sheridan County 4-H have compiled a cookbook that not only is full of recipes, but includes interesting artifacts pertaining to the history of 4-H in Sheridan County over the past century.

Coalition School Districts Cut 92 Jobs

The 11 Wyoming Coalition school districts, which includes Sheridan County school districts 1 and 3, announced Wednesday that they have eliminated 92 full-time jobs due to budget cuts.
