School Trustees Drop Long-Term Disability Coverage

Sheridan County School District 2 trustees voted Monday night to discontinue the district's long-term disability insurance policy effective June 30.

Six Arrested for Drug Charges Last Thursday

Last Thursday, the Sheridan Police Department developed information that led to the arrest of 6 Sheridan residents for the sale and distribution of controlled substances.

Home-Based and Small Business Conference and Connection

On Friday, June 10th, at the Sheridan College in Johnson County Campus in Buffalo the Home-Based and Small Business Conference and Connection will take place. This Sheridan College event will be from 9am-4:30pm. The purpose of this event is to help home-based, small and direct sales businesses.

Ronald Jay Sorenson, beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away May 1, 2016, at his home in Winnemucca, NV. He was born October 8, 1961, in Newcastle WY, to Clifford and Helen (Rihanek) Sorenson. He married the love of his life Patricia (Patsy) Diane Trujillo on May 27, 1982.

Trees for Trash Brings 500-plus People to Landfill

More than 560 people hauled nearly 200 tons of trash to Sheridan's municipal landfill this weekend, exchanging the trash for Amur maple trees.
