City Budget Work Sessions Continue

City of Sheridan Engineer Lane Thompson provided an update to the City Council at a recent budget work session that detailed the budget for several divisions of the City’s Public Works Department.

Broncs Fall to Plainsmen in Overtime/Troopers Score A Win Over Roughriders

Wyoming State Soccer- The Sheridan Broncs were defeated 1-0 by the Laramie Plainsmen in overtime of the Semi-Final game of the 4A Wyoming State Soccer Tournament. Although it was a tough loss, Head Coach Matt Johnson said they fought hard.

A penalty in the box gave the Plainsmen a penalty kick that scored them their lone goal.

Saturday the Broncs will play Cheyenne Central at 11am to decide the 3rd place team.

Filing for Elections Closes With Vacancies Remaining

Filing closed Friday for the August primary elections, with a vacancy in Ranchester and a five-way race for the Sheridan Mayor's post.

Bridger Files for Sheridan City Council

Sheridan resident Rich Bridger has filed as a candidate for the Sheridan City Council. Bridger said the city must be fiscally responsible and keep a balanced budget.

Investigations by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Special Investigation Unit have been cracking down on Workers Compensation and Unemployment Insurance fraud according to their Public Information Officer Hayley McKee.

Memorial Day in Sheridan

Memorial Day weekend is upon us and many families will be enjoying the great outdoors for the summer kick-off. But on Monday, people will be remembering the people who died while serving in the United States armed forces. To do so the Sheridan County Veterans Council will be sponsoring some events.

Christina “Tina” L. Davidson, 24, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1991, to parents, Daniel and Michelle (Osborn) Davidson in Lodi, CA. Tina was a devoted mother to her two boys.
