Around 9am on last Wednesday, 47-year-old Texan Wendy Larrabee was struck by a motor vehicle as she was crossing the West Entrance Road on foot. Witnesses started CPR immediately and rangers arrived within minutes, but Larrabee was pronounced dead at the scene.
