Rogers Returns

Sheridan resident Darren Rogers conquered the worlds tallest peak, Mount Everest. His trip took 41 days from Sheridan to Sheridan. Although Rogers had an incredible journey, there was tragedy as well.

Jerry Browne passed peacefully at home on June 16, 2016, at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon, and his son, Todd (Tomomi). He is also survived by his mother Wilma, brother Rick (Sandy) , and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Jay, father Bruce W., brother, Bruce E., sister-in-law Marie, and his grandparents.

The Munsters Crash Big Horn Country USA

Big Horn Country USA rolled into Sheridan Thursday and along with it came a collection of TV’s The Munster memorabilia including two custom vehicles. Owner and builder Randall Landwehr said his inspiration came from when he was 12.

Fire Danger in the Bighorns at Moderate

Sheridan has been experiencing sunny, hot day after sunny, hot day and that is melting the mountain snowpack rapidly. This has led to moderate fire danger in the Bighorn National Forest.

Troopers 4-1 on Current Road Trip / Broncs Return From Team Football Camp

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened a four day tournament in Omaha, Nebraska last night with a 14-4 victory over Dickinson, North Dakota they will play Creighton prep today then Watertown, South Dakota tomorrow and finish Sunday against Elkhorn, Nebraska.

The Troopers are 4-1 on this current road trip and stand at 19-11 overall. Their next home date will be Tuesday when they host a double header with the Casper Oilers we will broadcast the first game live at 4:00 on KWYO.

College Can't Make Up Shortfall With Tuition Increases

As the Northern Wyoming Community College District, which includes Sheridan College, looks at a $1.8 million deficit over the next two years, one suggestion that's surfaced has been to raise tuition.
