Semi-Truck Explosion Reported in Sheridan’s Walmart Parking Lot

UPDATE -- One person was taken to Sheridan Memorial Hospital Saturday morning after firefighters were called to extinguish a semi-truck that exploded and burned in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Anonymous Donor Provides Street Piano for Downtown Sheridan

On Thursday, the Downtown Sheridan Association and the WYO Theater accepted the donation of a brand new Yamaha upright piano to be placed outside on Main Street. According to a news release from the DSA, the piano was provided by an anonymous donor through the help of Diane Reiter.

Troopers Split Two in Billings to Start the Weekend

The Sheridan Troopers lost the opener of s tournament in Billings, Montana Friday 6-5 to the Billings Scarlets but came back for a 6-5 victory against a team from Castle Rock, Colorado.

They continue their road trip today with a double header in Powell and will go back to Billings to finish up the weekend Sunday.

Sheridan Ranked In Best City For K-12 Teachers

In the second annual 'Best U.S. Cities for K-12 Teachers' report released June 22 by college and careers website GoodCall, Sheridan was ranked as the #18 place in the country for teachers to live and work.

Antelope Butte Hosts Craft Beer Weekend

The Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area will host its inaugural craft beer week starting with a Pint Night at Sheridan's Black Tooth Brewery on Tuesday, June 28 at 6 p.m. and ending on July 2 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Brinton Museum Expands Hours

Dinner was served, torches were lit, then Sheridan's annual Relay for Life got started with a Survivors' lap around Kendrick Park Friday night.
