May Visitation to Yellowstone National Park Surpasses Previous Year

With the hectic vacationing summer months still ahead, visitation to Yellowstone National Park for the first five months of 2016 is up to 14.65 percent compared to 2015. All five of the park's entrances have shown an increase in vehicles for May of this year compared to May of 2015.

Kitten Shower at the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter

Dozens of litters are arriving at the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter now that kitten season is in full swing. The shelter will host its first Kitten Shower at the shelter on Saturday, June 18 from 11:30 am to 2 pm.

Crash South of Gillette Claims One Life

At 1:15 on Tuesday afternoon, a crash occurred on Wyoming Highway 50 approximately five miles south of Gillette. The crash resulted in the death of 83-year-old Eaton, Colorado resident Deloris Clutter.

Fire in Downer Addition Was Not Started by a Controlled Burn

Deputy Sheriff Mike Mullikin said that the juvenile that started the fire was issued a citation and will be appearing in court.

Troopers Split Two in Casper / Bronc Football Heads to Team Camp / All-Star Hoops Tip Off Tomorrow

TROOPERS BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split a double header in Casper last night they lost the first game 4-3 and came back and took game two 6-0.

The Troops will play their next several games on the road they are off until road double headers in Sturgis and Mitchell South Dakota next week the road trip will continue at a tournament in Omaha, Nebraska which runs during the College World Series the 16th through the 19th.

The next home games for the Troopers will be June 21st when they host two with the Casper Oilers.
