The Arden Fire, located east of Greybull, is still at 0% containment. Caused by an unknown source, the fire has now burned 415 acres of heavy timber. They have kept the fire from threatening any structures thus far.

On July 14-17 the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) conducted an agency K-9 deployment in Laramie County. WHP K-9 teams and additional Troopers from across the state met in Cheyenne for updated training and hit the road for 24 hour patrols during the four day deployment.
The Sheridan WYO Rodeo once again set an attendance record this year with 26,508 tickets sold, which was significantly more than the number of tickets sold last year. WYO Rodeo Board President Nick Siddle said this year’s rodeo was a tremendous success.
The Downtown Sheridan Association has been designated as an accredited Main Street America program for meeting performance standards that are set by the National Main Street Center.
