New Tongue River Elementary Opens

Gov. Matt Mead issued a proclamation for a Day of Recognition as the new Tongue River Elementary School in Ranchester opened Friday night with special ceremonies and a chance to tour the building.

Ethics Complaint Against Bebout Dismissed

A complaint lodged against Wyoming Sen. Eli Bebout, alleging ethical violations by him and members of the Senate Rules Committee, was summarily dismissed this past week by a subcommittee investigating the complaint.

Early Morning Fatality in Yellowstone

Early Friday morning, a Yellowstone National Park concession employee fell to her death off of Grandview Point above the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. They were able to recover the her body at around 10am.

Eighth Candidate Files for School District 2

Dawn Sopron became the eighth candidate Friday to file for one of five four-year seats on Sheridan County School District 2.

Rose E. (Stotts) Sanchez, 58, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at her residence surrounded by family.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan, WY. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at the Otto Cemetery, Otto, WY.

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team will open the 2016 season tonight at home with Laramie we will have the game for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio the First Federal bank and trust pregame show will start at 5:30 kickoff is scheduled for 6:00.

Don Julian begins his 10th season as the Broncs Head coach tonight as they open as the defending 4-A state champions.

In 2016 the team looks solid up front with several returning lineman and Julian says that's where it all starts.
