Monday night, nearly 25 people attended a seed saving workshop held in the Watt Agriculture Building on the Sheridan College campus.

Another Candidate Files for College Board

Teddy Ladmirault became the last person to file for office Monday, as a candidate for one of four seats up for election on the Northern Wyoming Community College District board of trustees.

Ground Broken for North Main Interchange

In ceremonies at 2 p.m. Monday attended by Gov. Matt Mead and state, county and city officials, ground was broken for the new North Main Interchange in Sheridan.

Thelma M. Griggs

Thelma M. Griggs, 98, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born on August 4, 1918, in Goodell, IA, to parents Cornelius and Eva (Miller) Bode. She married Audery “AK” Griggs on August 7, 1936, in Forest City, IA. They moved to Sheridan in 1994.

Thelma enjoyed gardening, going to the Y, watching westerns, reading and traveling.

Funeral services and celebration of the life of Ron Paden, 89 year old Buffalo resident who passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, will be held Saturday, September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo, Wyoming. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m.
